FDX Excess Bid delayed......again

They should have delayed it. They were in violation of the CBA regarding practice bids and how they relate to bid close dates.
They hold our feet to the fire on the CBA, so what's good for the goose, is good for the gander.

True but neither can they amend it........changing the closing date is amending it.

What a joke this is becoming or ALREADY IS! I agree that the closing should have been extended a day or two but it should have been announced right after they realized that practice bid #2 was d!cked up, not announce a delayed closing ON THE CLOSING DATE.
I am really starting lose all confidence in the company "doing the right thing" by the CBA and their employees. The company just seems to do what they want, when they want without any regards to the CBA
Real sad...

Playing chess against big blue...
They postponed the closing and took the bid data before the announcement of its postponement and now have a valid practice bid to analyze, vs the junk alot of pilots were putting in.
I am not Stevie Wonder but I didn't see this one coming.

Keep this up and one of these days there'll be a bronze statue of D. Bonderud in front of Flt Ops, so we can reminisce about the good ol' days...
On the bright side, at least these fools aren't running payroll.
