JetJockey,
I know of people going out to Long Beach, CA and using Alteon. If you need, I can provide contact info. Just message me...

Good luck...

You will here this over and over, but one more time just for the heck of it, AJ is the guy to see! Emerald Coast can put you in contact with him or call Pan AM Flight Academy (901-748-7500) and they will hook you up. He has a high success rate, no guarantees, but if you have half an instrument scan, you can get through the toughest part of the interview. Forget the new suit, invest in the sim prep. Good luck and hope to see you in the pool soon!

Cheers

Ouch!! I have one of those watches...
But, I wonder what aircraft you wanted to fly when you started UPT?

Cheers,

That's the spirit!!!

I actually thought that an A-10 would be cool to fly, but I had a bout with airsickness early on in Tweets that changed my mind pretty darn quick.

All in all, flying heavies has been good, no 90 day unit rotations to the desert (they're probably higher now) and not as much "flying around the flagpole" like the little planes do.

For the record, I talked to a guy today who does some of the interviews, the SBI is gone. The written tests do matter. Read the instructions. Don't answer questions you don't know.

What are the reasons for canceling the CRM part of the interview process? Rumor has it that the chief pilot had some military buddies not make muster in the Situational Based Interview and he cancelled it.

Just a quick question - I'm MX at an F-15 Unit here, and 5 of our pilots fly for Fed Ex. Any suggestions on ways I can start to 'network' ? I'd hate to miss the opporunity but I don't really have a good idea on how to approach them without looking like I'm out to get something from them. Not to mention the most convienent corrospondence would be through e-mail.

Thanks!
