FDX - Expensing Airline Ticket
Has anybody bought a plane ticket to get to work with their own credit card and expensed it as a deviation? I bought a ticket for one trip on my own (not through global travel), and then due to trip changes, ended up with a deviation bank. Just wanted to see if there was any gotchas other than submitting the receipt as an out of pocket expense. Thanks

You will be required to turn in boarding passes, all other rules apply like the 3 day rule etc..
The CBA says you are supposed to use Global Travel for tickets...unless you can get them cheaper on your own. The general method used for obtaining tickets other than Corp travel is using the FDX Card, you may get some grief over those 2 issues, not sure. Lastly if you used that ticket to commute your base to begin a trip and now get reimbursed then that will now be a "taxable" event in FOX.
Hope that helps.
