Ryanair and EZ Jet, being low cost carriers, can be referred to as a-la-carte airlines. You pay for everything from check in fees, priority boarding, baggage, food and grog.
European, Asian, and Middle Eastern carriers still provide food and grog, pillows and blankets (if available) to their coach passengers.
I position quite frequently throughout Europe and Asia on non US carriers. You know something??? I can’t remember, whilst travelling C or J class, when the last time a member of cabin crew fluffed my pillow or tucked me in

I find that cabin crew on non US carriers are more service oriented, by appearance and personality, than their American counterparts.

With the beauty status of most flight attendants being fairly low nowadays (not to mention a lot of guys, too), I don't think I'd want a lap dance from them. The flight attendants aren't what they use to be. That's for sure.
