Anyway, Misogyny is hatred (or contempt) of women or girls. The word Misogyny comes from the Greek misogunia from misos ("hatred") and gyne ( "woman").

To further enlighten you the word MISOGYNY is parallel to misandry, which is the hatred of men or boys. Misogyny is also comparable with misanthropy which is the hatred of all humanity.

Let me throw another word into the mix. OEDIPUS COMPLEX… you know, a subconscious sexual desire in a child, especially a male child, for the parent of the opposite sex, usually accompanied by hostility to the parent of the same sex.

So FLMD11 which term applies to you??? Misogyny or Misandry, or Oedipus Complex?

YAAAAWWWWNNNN............sorry......did you say something?????

I am going to repeat what has been said many times other places. You get what you pay for. We (the US flying public) expect (for our $89 seat) first class service. F10a, were you on Ryanair or Easyjet when you got this great service?

Apples and oranges here.

Ryanair and EZ Jet, being low cost carriers, can be referred to as a-la-carte airlines. You pay for everything from check in fees, priority boarding, baggage, food and grog.

European, Asian, and Middle Eastern carriers still provide food and grog, pillows and blankets (if available) to their coach passengers.

I position quite frequently throughout Europe and Asia on non US carriers. You know something??? I can’t remember, whilst travelling C or J class, when the last time a member of cabin crew fluffed my pillow or tucked me in.

I find that cabin crew on non US carriers are more service oriented, by appearance and personality, than their American counterparts.

Back when JJ was in his 40s (1960s), stews had to resign if the got married or pregnant. And....they had to be girls! All this complaining yet Hooters Air went out of business....it's just sad!

Times have surely changed ... now-a-days a Flight Attendant can get a pilot pregnant?
