I just had 2 MEM check airmen captains jumpseat out of Subic. I didn't have the stomach to ask them why but would anyone care to quess? Also, did Bruce Almighty go over there and what happened when he did?

They are sending check airmen over to cover the flying we are not doing. This has been going on for over two months now.

Bruce stopped by a few months back.....only about 3 pilots showed. He said we would have a contract by the beginning of summer.

100%, but no more.

I was thinking....If a guy sold his vacation, then called in sick for the month, would he still get the 24hrs. pay? Interesting idea.

I heard it was two. But since you're there I'll defer to your probably better intelligence. And I'd bet I could figure out who the three were. Anyway, thanks to the Subic guys and gal for sticking to their guns. I keep hoping the attitude will spread. Two years is enough.
