If it's not, I don't care what top capt. pay is.....I don't care how great the schedules are. the 280 is not far off, just depends how long of a contract you are looking for. Take the proposed hourly rate, add 3% a year to it, and in 8 years you get 280. Beware of semantics.
The last proposal I was told of fixed the slope for 50% of the FO's date of signing. I asked why not 100% and was met by silence as if I should have been happy with 50%.Scheduling? I won't even go there with you.
What will sell this deal is going to be retirement getting a % of the votes, end rate pay getting some more, and a nice chunck of retro pay. Add it up and you get about 51%. Better luck next time
