I received an e-mail with a link. Had to have internet access and my alpa log in credentials. But it worked well.


This was the "revised" sound file and it played after I logged in.

 

To each his own. I say it has considerably more value.

1. Lots of guys don't know the leadership. This personalizes them. At the very least, you hear him read what they are going to attempt -- whether he wrote the entire message or not (more on that in a minute). That shows us that he is taking ownership, and I find that important.

2. Most people will listen to a message like this for 4 minutes before they will read it -- my opinion.

But whether you find the manner of communication more valuable is of much less importance than the value placed on what was communicated! Furthermore, we can see an attempt at various types of communication -- a simple recognition that this isn't "one size fits all." I think that is great.

As far as the content, I was pleased. Go back and read the emails from SS and you can see that he nicely filled in a lot of what he said when he was running. That gives me confidence that he has a plan and is carrying it out.
