Default Landing Currency Question

Quick question for those in the know. I haven't seen the notifications yet, but my calcs show that I'll need 2 more landings before 10/16 when I'd go NOQ. If I have a week and a half long pairing that starts on 10/7 and ends on 10/17, would the company drop that pairing due to the 48 hrs block out NOQ prior to 10/16?

Thanks

Default This is what the notifications look like.....

You will be unqualified as of XX Oct 09 due to the expiration of your Recency
of Experience, in other words, you will lack 3 landings in the last 90 days.
You are required to make reasonable efforts to maintain qualification. If
you are a reserve, consider using First Fly as part of your plan to maintain
qualification. If you lose qualification due to lack of landings, all trips
and/or R-Days which are scheduled to show within 48 hours of the above date
will be dropped without pay. That time will be eligible for make-up; however,
you will only be compensated for days spent requalifying if you made
reasonable efforts to maintain qualification.

Hey Dude, why don't you come and fly with me? Sounds like you'd be a Blast to fly with.

Have you done a sim in the last 90 days? That resets your currency, but the landings don't show up on your flight summary.

How many more takeoffs do you need?

Oh wait, we don't track those.

Sim in is November. Still not sure about the:

"If you lose qualification due to lack of landings, all trips
and/or R-Days which are scheduled to show within 48 hours of the above date
will be dropped without pay. "

with respect the longer trip pairing which shows 7 days earlier.

As for Mr. Busdrivr, love you too.

Expect the Crew Notification to start on the 16th, 30 days prior to landing expiration. Don't quote me but I believe that if you start your trip and will get the landings before going NOQ you will NOT be removed from the trip.

Good luck

I've been in that situation a couple of times before. Even though it wasn't required, I called Crew Scheds and confirmed with them that I would get the required landings before the NOQ date. I also asked the Captain if I could front load my legs on the trip to ensure I got the landings just in case we ran into weather, a Cat III requirement, or some other issue on one of my legs.

JNS: are you confused?

§ 121.439 Pilot qualification: Recent experience.

(a) No certificate holder may use any person nor may any person serve as a required pilot flight crewmember, unless within the preceding 90 days, that person has made at least three takeoffs and landings in the type airplane in which that person is to serve.
