Default FDX-Quick Sub Question

1st time using sub and OTP. If I have 10 hrs in my OTP bank, am I able to put in for open time priority during the view/add window or just for trips after open time opens?

Ok...thanks!

Don't want to start a new thread, but, have you guys noticed how many extra trips are created so far this month. I have counted around 140 just in the 727!

I haven't checked other seats/airplanes, and I could certainly be out to lunch, but methinks this is what happens at the intersection of peak/increased volume and 4a2b. Lots fewer reserve lines and lots more regular lines at reduced CH equals tons more XTRA flights--far above and beyond the "last minute notice" demands of our chosen profession. Me, I'll fly what I'm awarded, and enjoy the time at home--just not in the mood for extra flying till 4a2b terminated. If the company needs this trunk monkey that badly to fly the "extra" flying of peak/holidays, it'll cost 'em (draft). Turned down three draft calls last month; we'll see what the Grinch(es) bring this December.

140 xtra trips???

I'm only seeing about 24.

Are you including added Airport Standbys?

As a very junior 727 S/O, I have watched open time all month and drop my reserve for trips to avoid Memphis as much as possible. In Nov the 727 "xtra" trips started with 4000 and today I saw xtra/asby trips #4188-4197 drop in open time (about 10 airport standbys). That means there have been 197 "xtra" trips built in Nov and there are still 12 days left in the month!
Most of those 197 xtra pairings were actual trips and not standbys.

I've even been called twice in the last 2 months for a draft and know several others in my class that have been called 3-4 times recently.

So I have been put into sub for part of next month (17 hour trip canceled). If I decline sub now and take the OTP option can I cherry pick some good December trips during the current view/add window?

Same as the original thread question. You can pick trips during open time release on Thursday.
