Do you really believe we will sign any contract that reduced our pay, retirement or quality of life. UPS is still making tons of money and we do not need to give any give backs. That said we are overstaffed and I am a big supporter of the MOU, it is not a give back, it is a way to take time away from UPS have them still pay you something and if you do it right not be out any money in the end.

The question is not whether we would sign a contract that gives back, but rather will the company sign a contract that gives the raises and quality of life improvements some here seem to believe is a God given right?

There's ALWAYS room for improvement. We just need to keep moving forward and not back.

Unless you know where we (IPA) can find 19.7 million dollars in 48 hours the UPS pilot group will be marching backwards for the next 5 years!

At least another 4% (112) of the pilot group participated in round deux of the MOU that did not participate in round one.

How do you know that these are distinct individuals, people that did not give in round 1?

Actually I am just assuming so you know what that means. I remeber seeing something from the IPA saying we have 70% total participation in MOU part 1 and Part Deux. So with my pilot math I figured we had 66% in part 1 and now we are up to 70% in Part Deux so that is an additinal 4% of 2800= 112? I don't think anyone who participated in part 1 would then count if they participated in part 2 because percentage wise they were already included in the 66%.

Now I am confused never mind!
