After the recent 12 managers and a couple of others in the last 48 hours we're probably closer to 150.

why do you think it would take managers to accomplish this, and why FAR's only?

The trouble is the real butt heads are not leaving, it appears one of the better managers bailed this week.

My point was managers fly to FAR's not our contractual rules. My other point was the last time redoubt blew it was a huge fiasco. As always pilots are our own worst enemies reference (the fairbanks rescue crews). The furlough threat had just been announced when Redoubt blew and Soooo many crew members went waaay out of their way to help UPS.

Now under normal circumstances I think it would be honorable to help out here and there, but not after that threat of furlough but hey money talk$$$.

Even though very few people domiciled in ANC actually live there UPS had a heck of a time getting crews and A/C in place at First.

Then the IPA gave the go ahead to waive the contract about co domiciles etc. And all commuters were very happy to be commercialing to PDX and SEA etc to do those trips for lot's of money.

Now with the polar contingency plans and a management staff in SDF ready to go at a moments notice it's just an easy solution to any problem.

Foool me once.......!
