Just for discussion purposes ... why aren't those good deal trips placed in open time for line pilots to pick up? And later bumped by management ... maybe an agenda item for upcoming contract negotiations?

Off topic but I see the next "Panda" charter out of ATL/IAD has gone to the 777 too

I'm guessing this is the first "Charter" outing for the 777?
