Just for discussion purposes ... why aren't those good deal trips placed in open time for line pilots to pick up? And later bumped by management ... maybe an agenda item for upcoming contract negotiations?

Mayday, You have been explained this once already. You are not capable or trustworthy enough for a trip of this magnitude. This requires the expertise of the A-Team. Which one is MR. T though.

Off topic but I see the next "Panda" charter out of ATL/IAD has gone to the 777 too I'm guessing this is the first "Charter" outing for the 777?

You are really being unfair. Those 727 standards folks work hard and they're suffering under 4a2b. Shouldn't they get a little for the trouble? How can they get draft pay if you put'em in open time?
