The point is, do you get it! In the real world, not the sim world, the plane wouldn't have moved, because the other guy was enough of an ass that he and I wouldn't haven't stayed together as a "crew". You can paint a turd all you want, but in the end its still a turd. Some things/people can't be managed. But maybe you're in the same "Skygod" world he still lives in and you wouldn't/couldn't understand "crew" concept.

Again......that was not the point. The point of the thread was that NON members don't get fired and Union Members do. FECav8r asked for an example...............

T.H was one
and R.C is another.
........not to mention the Puppet Lady.

That is not the point. The Captain that refused to jumpseat out of Subic was fired, he was not a member. In the case of TH are you saying that if a member had done the same thing you would have turned him in? When I had a RFO jumpseat on FedEx DFW-IND SDT for our trip IND-CDG should I have turned him in since he had done his final check in in Dallas?

Fox you are really twisting things and reaching at straws. Stay on point.
If you want to make another....start a new thread on a different subject.

I would never turn in a fellow Pilot (Member or Not). I am not sure what prompted that response from you.

The start of this thread was the bias of disciplinary treatment between Union members and Non-Members (or members of MGT)

The fact is there is such a bias........
BTW the subic jumpseat incident if you remember correctly...............the FO was a member. He was just along for the ride when the CAPT refused to take the jet.............
They fired him and held a separte arbitration which struck me as odd since it was the same incident. Why have two separte arbitrations?? The FO was forced to sign a last chance letter.

Facts are facts. Nuff said

Your kidding, right? You understand he did his final check in in MEM, traveled as a passenger to FRA, arrives on time for his trip, then for some reason he decides to turn himself in to management?

BTW, he still has representation as a non-member.

The information I have is that when the F/O met Manfred for the ride to the airport Manfred told him that the Captain was already at he airport because he had just arrived from MEM. The F/O refused to fly the trip. That would have never have happened if TH was a member.

Yep, Facts are facts.

I heard the company had called looking for him and discovered he was not registered at the hotel. They started checking and found out he was not in Frankfurt but d/h in at last minute. No one turned him in he just got caught!

You are still missing the point......................

I don't care how it was discovered.......... The point is T.H, was not fired period!

All he got was a slap on the wrist. Considereing he falsefied his deviation request/Check-in and violated the FOM and Contract........he got off easy.

That wouldn't have happened to any of the rest of us!!

BTW T.H. was/is miserable to fly with.............even when he was a member.

Stick to the Point..........
