After I checked out in the left seat, I went back and looked at my (often infrequent) f/o landings. Over the 9 years I was an MD-11 f/o I averaged only 2 landings/month (due to rfo, high mins, BMP, etc. that means that many months I had ZERO). Fortunately, my landings were reasonably good and I seldom scared myself.
So ... as a Capt. I've tried to make it my policy to give the f/o the odd number landings (only 1 landing - the f/o gets it, 3 landings - f/o gets 2, you get the idea).

Oh, and btw, had a sweet landing this morning with AP/AT off!

Similar here, my last landing in the right seat was my 300th, over 9yrs! My next landing in the left seat will be my 200th, over 4 yrs! I also give the odd landings to the FO, and usually give them the choice of legs rather than giving them another MEM leg!

I hear ya! Even a blind squirrel finds a broken clock twice a day! Its the closing of my eyes at the sound of "Fifty" that has helped me all of these years!
