Default FDX Deviation question

Can I use my company card (or any card for that matter) to purchase my own deviation ticket on hotwire or priceline and get the company to reimburse it. My situation: recurrent....bank is 750ish, 1 way ticket from where I am to where I need to be is 1700ish. I can find it on line for 650. Can I buy the ticket myself, submit the receipt and get reimbursed?

Thanks.....and I will wear the tightest leather "slacks" and mesh polo shirt that I can find!!

Yes. But if plans change you own the ticket. I will occasionally buy a round trip ticket direct from the airline on months when the bank is tight. No problems with reimbursement however you do watch the weather alot closer.

You should use company credit card according to CBA Section 8.

Just make sure you select "yes" on the monthly FOX question. Otherwise you could be part of the witch hunt.

Heads up: Your "training bank" is good only for the footprint of your scheduled training. It does NOT include any other deviation monies for that same month associated with normal flying. Two different animals.

Miss that one and it could be costly.

That is true for Initial, Transition, or Upgrade training (ITU), but it doesn't apply to gcsass, who was asking about recurrent training. Per CBA Chap. 8.C.2.a., your normal monthly deviation bank is the accepted fare value of any scheduled deadheads on normal trips, PLUS any scheduled deadheads for recurrent training away from domicile.
I'm very familiar with this CBA section, after 8 years of deviating from the scheduled deadhead to MEM or ANC from LAX, for recurrent training. Recurrent training deadhead money gets lumped in with your normal trip deadheads.

Default Boarding Pass

A receipt might work, but I'm pretty sure they want the boarding pass too. So don't toss it. I've done it several times, and only got burned once... it was a non-refundable ticket.

No. Receipt printed at the kiosk or via gate agent worked for me last month and several times in the past.

Travelocity and Expedia receipts have worked for me in the past.
