FDX--eGrid
Is the underlying reason for this thing really for security or to make it harder for folks to use their "bots" to log on to the system? What a freaking nightmare it's going to be to whip that thing out every time you have to log in. I've never heard of such a thing...there has to be a better way.

I don't think it's a conspiracy although that'd be fun to run with. Most companies are going to this. The military has the Common Access Card, Lockheed is going to a similar system, etc. BidX will probably need a mod to work with the new system.

Yeah, except the company is too cheap to provide a real token system. Instead, we get the grid which we aren't supposed to print out. Like I'm going to encrypt my laptop to protect it? Did the IT dweebs run this by anyone who lives in the real world?

Today I prefer Conspiracy Theories!
One more reason you can be disciplined -- permitting anyone but YOU accessing the p.f.c. website!
Why not a smart card? That would REALLY avoid the issues that are trying to be "controlled" versus a printable grid.....
