Default Average FDX Pilot Ages

What are the average age of pilots who fly for FDX, and how are the chances for someone who recently graduated with a flight management degree at getting a job with them?

Look here: https://www.pilotcredentials.com/

And search this website to estimate your chances.

Average age is old. My guess 46-48. I would bet the median and the mode are between 48-52.

I would be willing to bet that the average is no more than 3 years greater than it was three years ago.

You are right.....and it "is going to be 5 years greater than it was three years ago" like I said in my post.

Like a stock discussion...it was a "Forward Looking Statement"....here's another

..... in about two years. I expect the current trend to continue.

I also predict while the average age of your FedEx Pilot goes up, the average expiration age of the FedEx retiree goes lower.

The Avg age of the 777 Capt is probably 105 or so. The Md-11 is between ancient and Geezer. Or maybe they just look old because of the night flying.

Before the age 65 rule, I think approximately 75% of FedEx pilots would have had to retire in 15 years. One of the highest in the industry...Continental is also very high. Now, that's 20 years.

PFC has the retirement list and it was updated recently too....I believe.
