Any of you guys notice that the change is not showtime at AOC, it's departure inbound to MEM. If you show for the trip and actually look at your pairing, you're notified.
Actually reading the FCIF before you puff up with righteous indignation might be a good idea.

I think it is way beyond righteous indignation buddy. Go drink some koolaide.

I guess you are willing to cut in to your 'crew rest' . .to help out a bunch of SOBs who have been holding your Contract hostage for the last 2+ years?
100% is ALL you should be giving. 'Departing early' is above and BEYOND 100%. .IMHO

Unfortunately, if they want to shorten your crew rest, and have you show early on the inbound to Mempho, there is nothing you can do about it. That becomes your showtime. 727 is right. Once you start your trip, they can do whatever they want to you, as long as they have revised the trip before you go into crew rest at the layover.

"Yassa. .Massa Fred . . I chops yo cotton. Looks like I spends my whole life in bondage. . cuz I gots to do whats y'all tells me."
How pitiful!
WHERE is the 'guerilla' spirit?

Don’t be staining that nice uniform shirt with the Koolaide drippings, now . .hee-ah?

The point of the thread is that they are "asking" for 10 or more minutes early departure on the inbounds out of the goodness of our hearts and for us to "work" the ATC system to help the sort. Perhaps you need to exhale and read it again.

So if you are in the field and scheduled to push at a certain time you plan to just wait until the original bidpack published time? I'm sure that won't raise some questions. Maybe you had better reread the FCIF to make sure you got it right.

I had a chump fly .84 all the way on a RE-RELEASE once.
Our estimated extra at RDP was like 14k and when we got there it was about 4k.
He said, "They want us to fly fast. I got BZ's for it before."
(He also watched "Team America", "Dukes of Hazzard" and some chick flick enroute. Had the Dukes going while we were still in meters in Chinese airspace.)

Drew, whatever is printed on your revised pairing is what is now scheduled. If they make the change, then that is what you are scheduled to do. If they don't make the revision, screw it.
