I certainly hope that this post is in jest.
Just remember,,,,,,,,,,the CAPT is the CAPT(he/she signs for the aircraft) and he/she grants the take off and Landing to the FO.

With the rash of landing gear falling off airplanes around here, who could blame them.

The bulk of the Pilots on this property are on board with the program. in other words there won't be any wedge...............especially when the Comapny begins to negotiate in good faith.

To me that means don't let them land, which in turn means that they will not remain current, which then means that they will have to go to the sim to keep current, which means that I am not that confused!!!!!!
And with FO's going Uncurrent...............???

Just maybe we will get a contract worth having.......still confused??

You make alot of sense on this one.

i mean that right now at this minute i am at the bottom of the food chain. Flying at mach .15, hoping to make it home to see my wife evryday. I will be working in a form of the major arena soon(hopefully),this being the regionals, charter, cargo, corporate. So far, I have seen alot of backstabbing and double crossing. That's all.

Oh, brother.

I'm sure that FoxHUnter is having the best laugh he's had all year.

Don't y'all realize yet that he just DELIGHTS in stirring the pot? He would no more deny an FO a landing to "support his union" than I would disrespect my mother. He doesn't mean what he said, he just tossed a big ole hook with smelly bait in a pool of hungry piranha and look at all the bites he got.

Very funny, FoxHunter. Now you've had your laugh.

Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us twice, ...

... you know the rest.

Besides, the FOM contains guidance about FO legs. In light of that guidance, and our normal practice, it would be impossible to defend his strategy in court.

Tony, do you have a question about PIC authority? If I decide not to give a F/O the leg I will have a reasonable reason. Your strategy has already been decided in court, you lose.
