Default Only a problem if aircraft is double-crewed..

A couple of them can only handle two jumpers (due to oxygen configuration in the courier area, so I have been told...ask a 777 guy for the direct scoop), so if the aircraft is double-crewed, there is no room for additional jumpers. I have also been told that this is a permanent situation with these two aircraft.

As far as your catering issue, just follow the prompts "for hotel, limo, and catering needs, press 1 for the flight service desk..."

They can fix your catering issue.

The configuration of the Air France airplanes is supposed to be changed during next C check I have been told.

I have also been told there is this restriction, but I have also spoke to someone who rode in this airplane with 3 jumpers and a crew of 2, IND-MEM leg.

I was under the impression that all 121 aircraft had to be able to accomodate an FAA inspector in addition to the crew. Where would the Fed sit when you have four required crewmembers on the flight?

You can only have 4 people on the Air France 777s. The 4 seats in the cockpit are the only ones with 'real' O2 masks. In the courier area the O2 masks are the pax carrier dixie cups. So, on a double crewed flight, the Feds don't get to participate.

I have also heard that the dixie cup masks will be changed out to the "normal" masks.

There are 3 tail numbers, and I think soon to be four, that you wont be able to sit in the back on, due to the O2 config. The ladies at JS Admin can tell you which planes these are.

Actually, I think you can sit in the back. You will just have to come forward into the cockpit in the event that the O2 masks are required.

Not true. It's only the 2 Air France birds (880/882) that have the dixie cup masks. The others (guggenheim) are/will be built to fdx specs.
