Actually, Fedex non-pilot employees used to use those code fobs to get into the Fedex network, until E-grid came along. They switched a little bit before we got it. My wife still has her little code fob in a junk basket on her desk in the home office. It just sits there and switches codes every couple minutes. No one ever asked her to return it.

What's this "making lots of extra money?" thing and how can I get in on it. Last I checked you get your line and can trade up a contractual 6 hrs. Unless, of course, you're a flex or LCA. Think hard and you may see a connection to the current situation.

With fellow crewmembers like you who wants to cancel all leave until you figure out how to manage the situation, who needs enemies. Were you one of those military commander types?
Shocking, for someone that's so in tune with the CBA... You may want to check your max trade up value again.

Well, we've found at least one of the "botters".

You can trade up 12 hours, by the way, might want to check again.

I'm sure that you will continue to demand that the company fix this and other issues in the next contract, or else. Right, next time, then you will show them.

What some of us non botting crewmembers would like is to be able to interact with VIPs on an equal footing with everybody else and not have to endure level after level of encryption to do so. I guess that is asking too much from the me me me crowd.

I shouldn't be surprised there are so many anti-computer guys here. I have a couple of friends that were very angry when they could no longer send in receipts and had to scan them for submission. That was a long time after FOX was instituted by the way. They actually avoided DH lines because of it. Looks like I found another one those guys.

If you want me to sell my smart phone and travel computer so we can be on equal footing, forget it.

Those not familiar with the grid entry assist programs seem to be accusing those with them of snatching open time and trading while away from the computer. The bot codes eliminated that process, so it's not a factor. Some geek may have taught his computer to interpret captcha but nothing available to us can do that right now. Automated open time checking is limited to 5 tries at most, then bot code required.

We're confusing these guys with the facts.

The company controls everything here. Codes to log in. Maximum number of page views. You can't "beat" the system unless you try to inject code into VIPS. Do that and you will be fired and face criminal charges. You can't log in anonymously. Really.

Apparently we are all on notice not to log in while flying. That doesn't give them a reason to make my bidding software fail when I'm at home. They can call all those guys tomorrow and it would stop.

Another simple fix...don't allow calendars to be hidden.

Wow..and I thought my ex-wife made no sense when she argued! Settle down Sybil, I make no decisions around here. I just try and not screw my fellow pilots to get ahead. Seems like that has somehow touched a nerve with you. Now, back to the matter at hand. Why don't you tell me what you think the company is hiding by doing this. BTW, last time I checked, making $30,000 extra a year is certainly "making lots of extra money".

Lot's of ways around this, just ask any of your buddies who are trading trips back and forth with each other!
