A challenge to ALPA

Perhaps if we all read a few of the basic security policy documents, we wouldn't be so ignorant of the facts
. I am still amazed that our supervisors have not provided us a helpful link so we can be better informed (and then be held even more accountable
). I certainly hope this stuff is at least being mentioned in basic indoc
.
The docs are available on the intranet. The most basic is titled: Information Security Guide. It applies to all FDX employees and has a list of basic Do's and Don'ts. And as the second page says: Visit infosec[dot][you can guess the rest] for full Information Security Standards.

When you start getting high tech or just like to look at porn at the AOC, you probably should read the above mentioned guide.

It seems the obvious solution is for the company to create an app. If trips are pushed to the app when they hit open time there is no need for bots to continuously try to refresh. (I'd like to see one of these bot programs someday.) I'd really rather see a company approved app that minimizes bog.

Much more simple than an app. It is called an RSS feed. Would work on every browser on every platform. And would cost the company less processing resources than the current solution. I actually proposed a similar solution for the union to do an RSS feed of open time, but was turned down.

.It's also clear they aren't spending the accepted fare savings on additional IT resources

Some of us actually try to solve problems.
