Default UPS Trade with open time

First of all, I am venting here so forgive me! Why on earth does a trip trade get denied for lack of reserves, when the trip falls on the exact same days that the original trip was on???? I read the IPNN today and find the company is blaming the union. This place never ceases to amaze me in anything they do.

Second, anyone who is still looking to get a job here someday in the distant future, needs to really to take a hard look at themselves. They are not happy until you're not happy, has never been more true here. UPS will go out of their way to try to make this job as painfull as they possible can. I know I should have this fugured out by now, but good Lord people, how does this place stay in business???????? It should not be this hard to trade a trip that was equal time for same days!!!

OK, venting over, time to go try and trade away some more bad trips for some not as bad trips!!!

Sounds like UPS Management uses the same Trip Trade Software as FedEx

That is because the place is run by a bunch of d-bags. I laugh reading the Bar and Grill listening to guys say how they think Mitch Daniels is going to change the culture at ups. If you buy into any of this BS then ups wins.

You expected the online, no human involved, computer trade to not have controls in it. UPS will never give up control. We have gone from getting trip trades done to all being rejected. Sure they are blaming the union, we negotiated the system into the contract and insisted that they implement it , our people threatened the union for not going ahead with it.

It's pretty lame that's fo sho! There goes a junior pilot's only hope for getting a somewhat decent schedule. I don't think it's just UPS...since I have been in this industry, things have gone from bad to worse. No wonder noone is getting their pilot license.

It's not Daniel its Nichols and his side kick Calzonni the Cappazzeli the kneecap. He's been on kissy touchy campaign since he got his new position and been telling everybody how things are gonna be for the better. OMFGYHGTBFWM.

Thanks for the correction, I had a brain fart, must be ups rubbing off on me. Either way ups will not change, hopefully we don't have IPA guys buying into this endless drivel.

My guess is that they are making the schedules as painful as possible so that when they push PBS as an improvement, we will jump at the bit to vote for it. This place is so whacked it leaves me speechless. Next guy that see's Nichols please ask, why if this place is so great, why then over a dozen of guys that are still flying and not furloughed have current app in with FedEx?

Also heard that, Fred is actively recruiting current UPS MD-11 FO's in ANC, any truth to this?

I would really like to know when a current (not furloughed) UPS FO actually gets a job at FedEx, resigns their seniority and leaves.
