So the company can change the schedule whenever it wants to, but we get to dispute it for 3 months, and then have the vp of ops say fly it. What an awesome contract we have! Sign me up for another year!!!

This definition is not referencing pairing construction or bid-line construction - both of which have their own separate processes (SIG, and CBA Scheduling Section)
Good point, though, that you should expect to be released with only 3 R-days remaining though since the company is admitting (in writing in this FCIF) that less than 4-day blocks are "inefficient" and/or "unusable"
