Default FDX - PVG tranportation to hotel

Are there any cheaper ways to get to the hotel if deviating?

Thanks.

Maglev to city, switch to subway and take it to station 5 min walk from hotel.

Cheaper than what???

Maglev from PUD to Longyang Road MTR is:
40 Yuan one-way with airline ticket stub
50 Yuan one-way without airline stub
100 Yuan for a VIP one-way.

From Longyang Rd, take the #2 metro line (green) to Jing'An Temple (4 yuan).
Exit number 5 puts you on the NW corner of the park...a 2 minute walk to the Hilton.
You can also take the Metro (#2) from PUD to Jing'An for a whopping 7 yuan...cheaper but much slower.

Maglev runs every 15 minutes from 7:00am until 7:00pm and then every 20 minutes after that until 9:00pm (give or take.)

Thanks. I'd heard there were cheaper ways than the limo service. Just did know what they were.

Last time I deviated into PVG, about 3 months ago, I notified PVGOPS of my inbound deviation flight and the hotel folks met me and took me back to the the Hilton--no cost.

Just be sure to give them a day or two notice. They will advise the hotel and suddenly, it's like you didn't deviate at all. Be careful about arriving in SHA (Hungshiau????) airport though. No hotel desks there and the Hilton is spring loaded to PVG arrivals.
Ask me how I know?????
