Default FDX App window open - new FE written req?

Looks like the FDX app window opened. Saw different "rules" related to the FE written requirement on the initial questions. Anyone in the know have any insight? Is there still a requirement to have a current (24-months) FE written to apply?

"If notified and offered a Basic Indoctrination (BI) Class that includes the possibility of placement into the B727 Second Officer position, I will obtain a current (within the previous 18 months) FE Written Examination and have the exam and/or FE Certificate available on Day 1 of BI (Basic Indoctrination)"

Seems pretty clear...no requirement for the FEw anymore. However, 75 bucks to apply?? Really?

Was there a shortage of qualified folks in the last window?
For those of you who already have a profile, you might want to check the questionare section of your application. They've added a few new questions. When I checked my application today, the questionare section had the red incomplete check next to it.
Good luck!

Anyone know how long it's open for? The only thing I can't click yes to is the ATP, I'm trying to remidy that by the end of the month.

I emailed the support people. But did anybody else that had and active profile up try to get into theirs now and have the message pop up that "there's currently no profile on record"?

You'll save a few bucks not having to get a FE-W. Look at it that way!

So basically that question is saying that if offered a job, you'll go do the FE-W? I'm confused as to what the whole 18 month thing is trying to say.
