Recurrent and lines
Say I get a line in Sep. with a big trip ( approx. 85 hrs. ). If i'm able to put my rcgs in that footprint, will the remainig hours of the trip go into my m/u bank? Will they even honor my rcgs request or put me in a rcgs that doesnt conflict?
Thanks, o't

They're suppose to do the awarding of recurrent by seniority.
CBA 25.C.11.c. Recurrent training bids shall be awarded by seniority, provided, however, that a pilot shall not be awarded a recurrent training session in conflict with any other known absence (e.g., vacation period, leave of absence), or carry-out activities from the previous bid period (e.g., carry-out trip or R-days). If a pilot bids a recurrent training session in conflict with a vacation buffer, that buffer will be deemed to have been waived.
With the usual exceptions for guys in their grace month, etc. So, they should honor your request. It's changed from the days of them just doing whatever works best for them, as in "TOD".
