Thanks for to link to Crew Show appDude. That's quite the app. I see fr8rCaptain mentions that it has alarm issues with iOS 5. Did you experience the same ?
For those of you who need a good cold temperature altitude conversion app, check out ColdCalcPRO and ColdCalcMDA !...Winter is comin.....

A bit off topic, but a note to all you iPhone users out there traveling internationally:
iOS 5, if you and your family members/friends have upgraded, allows you to iMessage (text) without using SMS. So when you're in the hotel connected to wifi, you can text without incurring foreign text charges.
If you're paranoid about charges (and you probably should be while traveling internationally) you can go in to Settings>Messages, and select Send as SMS to OFF.
This is pretty handy.

I found where Apple changed the code from 4 to 5. Working a fix....
Also working on a universal for iPad.

Appdude; Thanks for the info on what it does. I've bought the app and am learning my way around it. My question on autopoll remains--how do people utilize it? Do they set it up in the morning and have it autopoll all day? Do they run it for 10 minutes and then get on with the day? How much of a benefit is it--can you give me a real world scenario where it can make a difference? My experience with Open Time without this app has been a matter of luck--looking at Open Time and seeing an interesting trip before it's gone. Will this app change my luck?
No magic to open time. It is how many times you check it, how many times you request a trip, and who hits the button first. FxCal helps you do that.
How much sh.. you get to stick on the wall first depends on how much sh.. you try to throw against the wall.

I recently had an SMF layover. As I wondered out of the hotel in search of a breakfast place ... I asked a cop at the corner if he could recommend a place? He said that this wasn't his regular neighborhood but that maybe he could help me. He took out his iPhone and asked Siri, "Find breakfast."
It made me and the other cops laugh ...

I had AeroWeatherPro for iPad for about 2 months. Worked great but when I upgraded to iOS 5 the program vanished. Anyone else have this issue ? I wrote the developer twice but no response. It is a great app as it downloads NOTAMS as well as weather and other pertinent station info.
