What with pickup times at source and destination delivery times at arrival being so tight, I wonder if it'll be worth the stopover. The bean counters will have to analyze that, because in the get-it-just-in-time world that we now live in, shippers might shop elsewhere if their product can't get to market in what they deem as a "reasonable" time. Especially if (as an example) UPS decides to stop short of Europe to save some bucks, while (again, as an example) FedEx decides to non-stop it. Should be interesting.

Interesting possibilities
1. All other countries respond with an equal or more than equal tax, just because.
2. The US and China, among others, decide to stop propping up EU banks.
