They started out with grand plans but it has fallen apart for the most part it seems. As evidenced by my u/n, I thought I was in after I had my interview and starting looking forward to it. However they subsequently botched the 757 certification process and became "that airline" trying to undercut a lot of similar companies.
Last I heard, the 757 mess was never really worked out (could be wrong) and I guess they sent it packing (last hit on it was over 4 months ago on a flight to Europe). The 747-400 certification seemed to go a lot smoother but I only know of some random flying they’ve (I think they have two) been doing in addition to a stint at UPS during the Christmas rush. Their DC8-86 was put into some type of storage and it was still there the last time I was at YIP.
Hope that gives some insight. Nice people working there but I think their ambitions were to much.

I am not even sure you could have made the insurance requirements or the DOD requirements to fly a 757 on those contracts.

Have a buddy that works up at NCR. Here's what he's telling me:
2 B747-400BCF's on certificate. 3rd is due sometime in March.
Both of the 747's are tasked to the Middle East and are flying - a lot - like 3-5 t/l per day.
1 B757-200 is flying contracted private charters in the Middle East as well. Daily flights.
2 DC-8's (a -71 and -73) are still on certificate. The -63 is no longer flying.
2 or 3, maybe 4 B757-200 Combi's are going to starting coming on-line over the next year. He wasn't sure how many are actually coming as one of the combi's may be converted back to full pax config. He did say that 3 are being converted and another all-pax may be purchased.
They're growing. They used to be a small "mom and pop" airline. So the growing pains, in his words, are "something else".
Hope that helps.
