Mark, I'm unwilling to get into a pi**ing contest with you again. I promised! However, I will tell you this: 1) I've not even seen my FedEx uniforms for the past 4 years; 2) I've only been to Walmart once, and that was in Memphis, to get some new sunglasses, years ago; 3) with my O-6 military retirement, Social Security, and annuity from when I was a Vice-President of a major life insurance company, LTD payments (which are exactly the same as what I'll be getting in retirement, at the end of the year), I'll never outlive my money, so I don't think I'll be spending any time at all in Walmart, either in or out of uniform. I do, however, miss the flying, and it never mattered to me which seat I occupied. In fact, when I was on the Mad Dog, I rarely wore my uniform, once on the jet. It was always jeans and a tee shirt.
Best of luck in your career. I hope all those senior to you get out of your way soon, so that you can finally rise to the position that you so desire, and have obviously earned, through good looks, hard work, and whatever else it is that you do to convince yourself that you're the best and the only one who counts.

Here's a little secret --- THEY WEREN'T!
They were consistently drafting for pilots 2 months into 4A2B (Apr 09) and ...and stayed in 4A2B 13 months after the cargo volume bottomed out.
From the beginning, they admitted it was only cost effective to furlough if they kept guys on the streets for 2 years...and they were never in a position to do this.

Nope thanks to the guys that pushed this through, now I HAVE to work to 65 to be able to retire. I sometimes wonder if the 4 affairs 6 marriages and all the alimony and child support were worth your ability to retire and enjoy life, rather than have to work till you die, bitter at the younger generation? Sadly just like SS the (in their 40's generation) continues to pay for previous Screw ups...
I agree and am planning the same.....its called being manogamous and living within your means. Im sure some of those guys had a tough time keeping up with all the toys to impress all the stews they were cheating on their wives with..... Would sure explain why they are bitter and hate their jobs

So to claim that someone else is "keeping you down" is akin to the pot calling the kettle black.

And if you profited by the age 60 rule and the age 65 rule I guess your skin ought to be a little thicker.
But since we are using politically incorrect metaphors today I will say that the gummer comment found the chink in your armor.
