If what pilot #4 says is true (and it is articulated with more authority than JB's pr campaign) FDX might be underfunding the FDA, but pilot #4 will not be underfunded after her day in Court.

MGMT is only digging a deeper hole by polarizing the crew force and unifying pilots much better than ALPA has done.

Maybe ALPA could give JB et al a plaque to memorialize their efforts.

Getting the day in court will be a long and costly process and if the complaint is filed in Shelby County courts , the company will have much advantage .........Company has proven this before in other cases ......... Unless there is rock solid documentation of said communication between management and pilot number 4 , I believe it is a closed and most unfortunate case for all to remember ............ Better to email those involved and get responses in writing rather than a phone call or a meeting .............800 pound gorillas do exist

True, they do exist, (especially in this case, in Shelby County), but on occasion, even the 800 pound gorilla has to admit that it was wrong, and pay up.

Rumor from sources who know "or should have known", say this isn't a Jay "Mongo" Bee initiative... Mongo

"Or should have known" is a scum-sucking-bottom-feeder term, and that's where we look for the man behind the curtain.

I feel bad for Fedex #4's situation. I know her husband and believe her info is correct in regards to their living arrangements. I hope it gets sorted out for the both of them.

We know it is never the suit's fault, there is a bean counter somewhere to blame.

The company's FCIF Says AVA may be available in the following seat positions: HKG capt and FO.

With 4 HKG Pilots on the street--is seems that canceling vacation and doing AVA would be seen as worse than picking up a disputed pairing! With four HKG pilot "short" any pilot doing AVA is like picking up stuck work! How about another family appreciation summer, until this management incompetence is corrected.

Most know that HKG and ANC are unified regarding extra flying, especially under less than optimal circumstances (4A2B...). It is highly probable that the HKG guys will stick to their guns on this one as well. So the spotlight will turn to our Airbus brethren in MEM to see if they pick up those double deadhead HKG pairings or also stand by the HKG folks.

To those assigned to the Bus in MEM who preach that they have unity approaching that of HKG and ANC.... now's the time to put up or shut up.

I hope they stick to their guns and show the company that the former thinking of "what the heck, I'll never bid there anyway" is dead. The company has played a high face card and may still have the Ace hidden for future play. Let's do it together, guys. Don't take those pairings and force the company to go creative to cover their lousy decisions.

Agreed! But the union is not (cannot without getting their starched white shirts wrinkled) going to put out guidance like this.

Until all of these pilots are reinstated, there should be no VLT/DRF in any seat, at any domicile. But we all know how that goes around here. Until it hurts Memphites in the big jets, the problem does not really exist.

So, once again, is there an assessment in the works to help out these pilots and their families? Fund to contribute to?
