End of 2021 salary survey
This might be opening a big can of worms…..but I hope not. There is a thread over in the Major forums where the different companies can compare money earned among the different contracts. Most of us are working on current contracts. Some of us are looking forward to beginning negotiations for our next contract. I think it would be beneficial to our career decisions/negotiation expectations to see just where we are in this industry. If you’d like to participate….I’d like to suggest company of employment, 2021 earnings broken down by seat position, seniority, taxable earnings, company 401K contributions, days worked, and any caveats (unpaid leave? Outdated contract? Overtime?, etc…). Atlas guys….let us know how it’s going. I’m interested in how your rigs affect your paycheck. How the new contract is working for you and your families. In other words….how’s life among us away from the gate riots and emotional support ducks?

Atlas FO:
Nothing you can really count on: End of this year earnings would be rather skewed and probably next year as well even if broken down by premiums such as CVD19 or our art 33 pay criteria if you will. New contract still being adjusted to by both sides. Only 2 hr guarantee increase, additional pay bump for just under four months for the year, art 33 pay on/off/on, etc depending upon the schedule you hold/held, line guarantee plus being displaced/paid and picking up a trip perhaps, plus the overall overtime, etc. Current payout is hit or miss, up and down, Super and decent. 175% works well but isn’t everywhere. Nice when all eight cylinders are banging it out.
*Not shunning any numbers from our outfit, just ensuring the interpretation will be correct or at least reflect the possibilities and how the sausage was made as the factory is being overhauled.

Atlas 747 Fo
First year
YTD: 90K on pace to break 100K
401K: I am currently at 10 percent contribution to get the 6 percent match. Planning to bump up to 15 next month.
Day work: 17days per month unless I got lucky ended back up in base early, or was out sick.
Contract still be implemented. Covid pay and Article 33 really bumped up my YTD this year. I am already making more where I am at vs when I was a regional Captain.
Next year will be interesting as I will have a Fixed Pattern Line, so I already know my Days on and off next year up to DEC 31st…

I'm a first/second year pay 767 FO at Atlas and this is my first full year W2, I'm looking at about 148k earned gross and about 13k in non taxable per diem. That was with quite a bit of open time whoring the first half of the year but not that much was available the past 5 months or so. Usually 17 days on but I bid a lot of reserve as well where I didn't get called at all the whole 17 days so that was a pretty easy way to get payed.

Funny, I just posted this in the Majors thread, but it's probably better here. Since you asked:
Atlas
10 year 747 CA
$325,000 W2
$11,000 401k match (Ew, at least that's going up)
About 700 hours block, 39 landings (maybe 40 before the end of the year)
Picked up a bit of OT here or there, but nothing crazy. COVID premiums make up for about $20,000 of the above. I drive to work, which definitely adds a lot to the QOL equation and saved me a couple days/mo in commutes. New CBA took effect 9/1, which has improved things. Overall happy here. My wife and I have a good life, even if it's not brand name.
