Can't do it. You have to be a FedEx Employee. You'd still have to take in and drop it off for the discount with your airline ID.

The discounts are fixed at 75% for Express, or 35% for ground (i always thought it was 20% for ground though).

The discount is an "up to XX%" off the standard price.

Since my recent post with question I have spoken to a lady that handles all accounts. She researched and said it was 75% off on Express and 50% off on Ground. That doesn't agree with the quote above. Seems like everything is word of mouth. Is any of this written anywhere?

It was what it was. It is what it is, and it'll be what it'll be. Besides, does it really make that much difference if the discount is 35% or 50%? The fact is that you're probably still going to ship the widget via FedEx. Or, you could ship it via UPS and get their discount. Oh, wait a minute....they don't offer one....to anyone.

Just like most of you, I want to be correct if I provide guidance to someone. A friend with another airline was asking. I was curious myself since it affects all employees, FedEx or other airlines the same (same discount applies to all is my understanding). Even the FedEx account people were not 100% sure regarding the Ground discount. Just trying to get it correct instead of guessing or shooting from the hip.
