Maybe all the CCI peeps can voluntarily forgo the increases in pay, health and retirement bennies that they magically get with the merger and save some fellow employees jobs.:rolleyes:

How is there going to be a one-for-one with the 757? I call BS with that one. I hope I'm wrong though.

Unless DHL has had a change of heart, CCI will only be bringing five 757's to the party when it's all said and done. The remaining 727's will be parked. I hope I'm wrong also. But from DM own lips at the last conference call, this seems to be case.

NCR757dxr 11-19-2012 03:43 PM

Exactly.... That is what I had heard as well. So based on that logic Cappy/ATI will actually lose two lines of DHL flying once the 727s are gone if I'm seeing it correctly (4 757 lines and 3 727 lines currently).

Please correct me on the numbers if I'm wrong though. I know it was something like that back in Feb/Mar and I know for a fact that its now 4 lines of 757 flying (since 531UA starting flying a few months ago).

757niteflyer 11-19-2012 03:48 PM

3 lines of 72 flying would go away, I have heard rumor of a 73 operator showing up on the ramp, so maybe they will park the 72s, who knows

NCR757dxr 11-19-2012 04:10 PM

The only 737 operator would be Northern Air Cargo.....

That, to me, makes no sense to add yet another airline to the DHL lift

I can not find the 4th 757 anymore. Back in February I thought there was 3 CVG lines and the PDX line with the 757. Maybe I'm mistaking.

The reason for all this is because Capital pilots will cost substantially less than ATI pilots of the same vintage after the lists are merged.

How so on the same pay scale?

Oh, you are apparently under a false assumption that Capital guys haven't also given 12 to 15 years of longevity and loyalty to ATSG companies. For the record Cappy was part of Capital Holdings and CAM before Capital Holdings bought ATI.

757niteflyer 11-19-2012 04:58 PM

No we only have 3 75s, number 4 comes on this month to start the MEM line, 3 72 lines and 1 reserve with no other 75 in mod yet. I hardly see the 72s going away unless DHL abandons those 3 lines or gives the lift to someone else.

NCR757dxr 11-19-2012 05:02 PM

OK that is right, N531UA was the third 757 not the fourth. So I just had the numbers flipped (4 727 lines and 3 757 lines instead of 3 727 lines and 4 757 lines).

No see the way it works in bizarro world is the 12 year transplant from abx who's only been working at ATI for 2 years will be junior to the 2 year capital guy. So because the transplant makes a second check he makes more money than true ATI people and of course more than the capital person.

Now apparently the transplant feels he should carry 12 years of seniority from another carrier not even in the merger so he can be higher than the capital guys. It's kinda like saying I was 20 years at delta so I should have 20 year seniority here.

Remember this is all about being fair, fair to the transplant, screw everyone else.

I'm gonna raise the **** flag on this also.

No where have I heard, read or even had to decipher implied intent that any ABX pilot now at ATI thinks their prior seniority from ABX should carry over in the merger and ISL.

And another thing, THEY ARE NOT TRANSPLANTS. They came over to ATI as NEW HIRES.

Man, does the rest of your group know you come over here and post this hate??
