Makes sense with the move of the OCC to ILN..... seems the merger(s) are moving even faster. I thought there was a few 757s coming on-line soon as by Legacy-United retired a few over the past few months (joining N531UA). Could be wrong though.
As far as I found out, the CCI code goes to ATN in Jan/Feb as well.

Capital 727 guys might be going to indoc but that doesn't mean they are going to end up on the 727.
The reason for all this is because Capital pilots will cost substantially less than ATI pilots of the same vintage after the lists are merged. ATSG is doing everything possible to ensure that they end up with maximum ATI guys in the furlough pool and minimum or zero Capital guys in the furlough pool after the lists are integrated. To do this, they are trying to delay reducing Capital pilots and delay recalling ATI pilots until after the lists are integrated.
At some point, ATSG needs to eliminate piltos based on the loss of the 727 and increase pilots to cover the new work out of Jakarta. If they wait until after the lists are integrated, they can use the excess Capital guys to cover the new work acquired by ATI. This way, they eliminate the need to recall furloughed ATI guys and achieve their goals.
ATSG rewards Capital guys for working cheaper and punishes ATI guys for having 12 to 15 years of longevity and loyalty with ATSG companies.

So much for CCI bringing eight airframes to the merger. A lie.
So much for CCI bringing "needed 757 experience to solidify the combi contract". A lie.
Each of these two points JV had sold to us (ATI) at the pilot meetings starting in MIA. And what does ATI get out of the merger John was asked? He's response was "Your jobs". Again, another lie.

The "bantering", as you so so callously refer to it, is not meaningless. It's about peoples livelihood. Their Jobs. The ability to provide for their families.
But of course it's "meaningless" to you. So much for one big happy family.
