Not to pick sides or anything but his last post did make sense regarding some parts of the 121 supplemental world. I'd believe it that some were at Fine in January and Arrow by April.
He is a CCI fan boy which isn't a bad thing, in theory, but to him Cappy's **** doesn't stink.

NCR757dxr, agreed, let's keep this thread trending toward a "no BS" legit discussion of issues and opinions without name-calling and dragging it down to the gutter.
Niteflyer-kudos for a civil post that presented your case in a well thought out way, exactly how we should move this thread toward.

ABX just annunced furlough 20 effective after the end of the year. By then, the ATI/CCIA merge will be complete. ATSG has a long range plan here. They will be merging the new ATI with ABX. The goal is to get the cheapest labor possible. Don't just assume that all furloughed ABX will be voting on anything. It will all end up with an arbitrator anyway.
The cappy recalls are effectively displacing ABX pilots who are getting furloughed.

Last time management flinched because they realized the problem with doing a quick turn recall. Same guys would not come back but ATI guys instead. ATI to ABX recalls would have to receive full ABX training and they might have had to replace the ATI guys with recalls. Management pulled to punch to make it through a minor seasonal bump.
I hope I'm wrong but I don't see it going that way again. I believe there will be big changes at ABX after the first of the year.
