Holiday ties - FDX

I heard the chief pilot say specifically that he didn't like Christmas ties, patriotic ones either. If you haven't caught on, he very much likes a "standard" appearance when in uniform. But as far as I know there has been no announced ban on either.

Probably already grasping them and flipping them upwards and outwards in eager anticipation of that jolly old elf seeing them.

I too have noticed how much better I fly in the companies tie versus my patriotic tie on the 4th or Veterans day.
In fact, now that I think of it, I have to admit as Christmas approaches and I don a festive tie....I must be inherently unsafe. It would be in the companies interests if they just removed me from my Christmas trip with pay and have me resume my flying schedule when I go back to the company tie.

Now, this is serious business running a cargo airline.
You want to dress up all fancy like and run about looking like the town-fool, go work for SWA!
Be back all the earlier tomorrow morning or you will be sacked. Humbug!
