IPAD's a reality

An old saying:
"When they are purple and on the ramp I'll believe it."

But his rumors got legs. We will be getting IPads soon.

I for one welcome our new overlords. I will practice correct thinking and downloading. Can this be worse than RFID? Will your every thought/location possibly be traced? Will we be indoctrinated/ trained (brain washed). Is it the mark of the beast? Never mind that Mayan 2012 and Y2K came and went.

IIRC ... (I sometimes read 'Aviation Week')

iPads, I assume with Jepps, have been approved for some time at Alaska and UAL? It seems like it might be an easy FAA approval process by now?

iPads from the company that thinks fixing the multi-leg deviation problem is too much of an IT hurdle. Yet, they stand up the EFB, LIDO, Jepps, iPad programs in record time. Whatever.... I think I'll leave mine off.
