FedEx: Tour of the AOC
Fresh from a great trip to Hong Kong and San Diego, Mr. vagabond and I are planning our Great Road Trip of 2013 to visit family and friends and assorted people we've met on the Internet. So far, the itinerary is Seattle-Boise-Salt Lake City-Denver-San Antonio-New Orleans-Memphis-Kansas City-Seattle.
Do I recall some of you offering to take me on a personal tour of the AOC? If this offer is still good, we will keep Memphis on the list. Otherwise, we're skipping it and going straight to Kansas City.
Aside from the AOC, what else is there to see in Memphis?

I reccomend the National Civil Rights Museum, a Redbirds Game and plenty of great food downtown.

Unless you're an Elvis fan, I'm not sure I would actually stop in MEM. But, at the very least, on your way through, make a slight detour and drive on the I-240 loop, just about any time of day.
I suggest seatbelts, airbags, helmets, mouthguards and for God's sake...Don't make eye contact!!
