That demonstration is the antithesis of a "Work Ethic". I found it particularly disconcerting when she laughed and gave the guy a thumbs up after they tossed all the packages. Hope she gets fired.

Doing your job like you are being filmed is probably a good key to long term job security.
You DO know there are security cameras on most/all FedEx ramps, right? We pilots are used to the idea there is a CVR. We are used to line checks, safety audits, and recurrent training. Some of the rest of the world is just catching up to the scrutiny we are used to facing regularly.
I'm not saint, but in the F15 community we used to say "every ride is a check ride". Later, when I was a part-time Guardsman in an active duty schoolhouse squadron, the idea was reinforced even more. You never wanted to be the "slacker" that gave the Guard a bad rep in the active duty eyes, so you tended to want to raise the bar/standards, not lower them. I used to say I got tired of living in a fish bowl, but looking back I realize that same fish bowl probably kept me out of taking any shortcuts that could have later bit me in the butt. After seeing a few pilots get in trouble taking "shortcuts" at their airline careers, I've realized if I just ask myself "how is this going to look on the tape?" I am probably doing the right thing.
Its not being paranoid, its just understanding the threat.
I've had a talk with no less than a couple of my fellow airline/General Aviation buddies about the same thing. In this day and age, there is no "off the grid" or "off camera" time. If you doing something in your own plane you would not want your mom or your local Fed to see, then why are you doing it? This age of FOQA, facebook and youtube means your secrets aren't safe for long. (Re: Dude, where's your's gear?)
The cool thing about this new era is that if you try to do it right, there's probably proof of that too. One of my favorite experiences as a Guard IP was having my DO trust me with an upgrading IP who was struggling with the IP course. This was usually reserved for weapons officers, but guys who'd been around the block also did some of these rides. He gave me a problem student to help because "the brief I gave him four years previous was the best one he had during his training..." Coming from an active duty patch wearer, I thought that was a huge compliment at the time. I did not do my best for the guy because at some point I thought I'd be working for him, but it paid off anyway. Just do it right...people are watching. Besides, you'll sleep better at night...
