Given the number they hired and trained between 88 and 91 that quit and moved on they could have started two airlines . When the IPA was voted in there where 762 pilots on the property , rumor has it that they hired and trained close to 1400 to that point. The attrition rate was impressive.

I didn't move it back to the Safety forum.
That is the biggest reason usually given - that some if the Cargo pilots don't visit any other forums.
I say there is a whole aviation community out there that also has interest in a major US airline mishap. Maybe those users don't visit the Cargo section - which is why a Safety forum was developed.
I would hope that the Cargo pilots would branch out.

Huck -
Since I moved it first ill ask you why you feel this way and also tell you that there is no malice intended.
When APC includes a particular forum for that very subject I find it interesting why people insist on posting such threads elsewhere.
Should I assume some sort of malice in those actions?

Come on, man! Really!?
UPS guys have the most interest in 1354. The discussion should be in the cargo forum. Moving it was an incredibly insensitive and insulting thing to do--especially the day of and first few days after the tragedy.
I'm not the most popular poster on here, and I don't claim to speak for anyone but myself, but I bet almost all guys agree with me on this.

But it seems easy to me to put threads in the forum for which they were made.
I've moved military mishap threads in there to.
As I said before - there was no insensitive or insult intended and to suggest otherwise is insulting to me; but I'm sure you have little concern for that.
In the end it was moved back to Cargo as requested so should I wait for your thanks to the mod that did it?

As planned, after it slowed down it was 'archived' in the safety forum.

That may be the case you came up with 150 threads with a search of UPS. That is not what I was talking about.
I was talking about every UPS thread getting moved or locked. I ran a search myself. I came up with countless threads that should be moved to the Safety Section. Several that should be moved to Hangar Talk. Several that should be moved to Union Talk. Several to Technical. You get my point. None of these threads are moved. Why?
I guess you call Cargo pilots Lazy? If that's it, then I guess I am Lazy. I don't go looking in other sections. Unless I am interested in something that involves Aviation Law, Union issues, Military stuff.........etc.....
Just frustrating that every time I come here looking for a thread I have interest in I have to go "looking" for it.

Well, my brother-in-law wore the goofy brown outfit and drove the brown truck for as long as he could stand the Nazi's with stopwatches, too.
