As far as recalls, absolutely no news on when that day might actually occure.

Anyone with any type of prediction about recalls, Postal contracts, and work/rest rules is guessing at best. There is no discernible logic and just when you think you understand UPS they will surprise you and it's been more often bad than good lately.
With that said, UPS has always stated recalls would be completed in 2014.

We are flying approx. 1700 block hours less per pay period this year than last. The average line right now fly's about 44 hours of hard block. That puts us about 39 guys fat purely by the block hour numbers. I believe this (38) is about how many retirement we will have this year. Only shrinking noises heard at UPS

More than just mandatory retirements since the market is so high right now. We are approaching 2500 total pilots.
