FDX - 757 Dec DPs
Yeah, it's gonna take a little more diligence when looking to trip trade in Dec, but let's make sure we put Safety First...especially during peak
And please remember, none of these can be put on your Secondary line unless you specifically request it:
#136 - 7 Dec
#137- 14 Dec
#245 - 2 Dec
#247 - 8 Dec
#250 - 15 Dec
#267 - 8 Dec

Can't imagine why anyone would want to pick up any of these flights (actually I can, but they're not good reasons) but especially 245/2. Almost 11 hour duty day(night) EWR -IND-BOS-EWR w/o hotel in IND and no catering. You either eat or sleep in IND but not both. Throw in deicing in all three locations and it sounds very fatiguing to me.

Bluto: Hey! What's all this laying around stuff? Why are you all still laying around here for?
Stork: What the hell are we supposed to do, ya moron? We're all on "A" Reserve. There's nothing to fight for anymore.
D-Day: [to Bluto] Let it go. War's over, man. PC dropped the big one.
Bluto: What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Otter: [to Boon] Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
Bluto: And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...
[thinks hard of something to say]
Bluto: The tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!
[Bluto runs out, alone; then returns]
Bluto: What the f@ck happened to the FedEx I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? This could be the greatest night of our lives, but you're gonna let it be the worst. "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you Bluto, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my *ss from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. PC, he's a dead man! JB, dead! BM...
Otter: Dead! Bluto's right. Psychotic... but absolutely right. We gotta take these b#st#rds. Now we could do it with a Collective Bargaining Agreement, but that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part!
Bluto: We're just the guys to do it.
D-Day: [stands up] Yeah, I agree. Let's go get 'em.
Boon: Let's do it.
Bluto: [shouting] "Let's do it"!
[all of the FedEx "A" Reserves stand up and run out with Bluto]

Note --- #267 on Dec 8 is a different disputed sequence than all the others, but equally as important as we all work together to support our SIG

Look at the trip notes....
Appears the Capt is an LCA who will be giving IOE on the trip.
My guess is the Capt was assigned by the LCA scheduler when the trip was left "available" during th View/Add & Secondary Line process.
Additionally, the FO who just picked it up probably realized he wasn't going to have to fly it, once the IOE assignment appeared in the Trip Notes.
Of course, he isn't bumped until the IOE is confirmed --- 1 to 2 days prior.
Unfortunately, the FO "Pick Up" may still "count" in terms of the Disputed Pairing Process. --- and that hurts us all in many ways in the long run!

Looks like another "usual captain" is back for more DP flying next week.
...however, let's not let these 1% DP recidivists distract or discourage us from our individual and collective focus on safety, and support for the SIG
The holiday season is always a great time to be with friends and family!
