No I happen to have been laid off after 8 month employment and spending 3 grand to relocate to MMV. The reason for my layoff... EIA has no $$$ to pay you anymore.
I basically lost my career as a result of Dells arrogance and business malpractices. As you can see I have no compassion for him. I think that it is pretty selfish to continue to dig up and re-bury his family on land he will not own much longer, yes the museum and lodge fantasy will be gone soon as well.
The effects on the community of MMV, may not recover for ten years. It will take me at least 3.
Anyone who stayed on board this past year were part of the problem as well. actually enablers This ship sunk long ago.

As far as staying the last year. The first 3 or so months we had some charter flights going so we were busy. But then as it slowed down and Wheeler was shown the door. It was time to go. I don't consider me or anyone else who stayed part of the problem. I have bills to pay.. I was on the last flight on 493 to RMS and back to WRI. Got to say good by to Millie spent some time with a nice crew had a few beers, said good by to my friends and sent the plane on its way to RME..
Sorry you got burned in MMV.. But in 23 years here seen plenty of good and bad people come and go. EIA was fun but now it is over. Time for all of us to move on.
Hope everyone has a safe and happy 2014..

Sorry to drag this thread back from the dead, but I thought Evergreen was dead. But, low and behold, if you go on Flightaware.com, you'll see that you can track EIA registered airplanes, working for Evergreen International Airlines, based in McMinnville, OR.
Right now EIA8218, a D328, is flying from London City (EGLC / LCY) to Billund (EKBI / BLL), and these flights were CX'd today:
EIA8210 D328 London City (EGLC / LCY) Billund (EKBI / BLL) Tue 09:45AM GMT
EIA8207 D328 Hamburg (EDDH / HAM) London City (EGLC / LCY) Tue 05:00PM CET
EIA8208 D328 London City (EGLC / LCY) Hamburg (EDDH / HAM) Tue 06:20PM GMT
So, the certificate is still alive, huh? Anyone know if any of the former EIA pilots ended up flying this, or how the EIA certificate ended up doing this 328 flying?

EZ, you're nor implying that Evergreen is flying 747s into London City are you?
[London City Airport has a single 1,500-metre (4,900 ft) long runway, and a CAA Public Use Aerodrome Licence (Number P728) that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flight training (but only for training necessary for the operation of aircraft at the airport).[4] Only multi-engine, fixed-wing aircraft with special aircraft and aircrew certification to fly 5.5° approaches are allowed to conduct operations at London City Airport.[5] The largest aircraft which can be used at the airport is the Airbus A318.[6]

Pretty sure he states in several places in his post that it's a D328 flying that route.
To help you out, that's a Dornier 328: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dornier_328
If you read his post carefully, he was talking about Evergreen in general and not the 747's.
