FDX FxCal Trip Posting Bulletin Board
#21
Great addition....but personally I don't like it. I'm always surprised and a little embarrassed at what people try to SWP. Sans holiday etc, just drop the dang thing and grab another whenever you can...that's the beauty of FXCal. I'm glad we have the option to turn that feature off.
I'm extremely grateful this program is available. Can't say this enough. It has been a game changer for my family and I.

Yes, you cannot control what others will post (other than I did try to quell PDO begging).
But some seats have so little go through open time that dropping and hoping what you want will drop in and you will not get beat on time stamp can be a crap shoot.
Hopefully this is just a third tool in the toolbox for guys to make their schedules better.
Open Time in VIPS.
Social networking of a swap/giveaway bulletin board.
Contacting the owner of a trip you want directly.
[oh, and I forgot, as accused by the company, sick leave ]
Happy New Year!!!

I was flying and unable to put in a drop the microsecond after open time opened. But it didn’t matter, I posted on the App and someone picked it up. Avoided the whole “Insufficient Reserves” mess. Worked for me and for the guy that picked up the trip.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I can't thank you guys enough for the positive feedback.
I too think the posting feature has been an initial success.
Even post holiday, there are 24 currently trips posted with already 24 initial responses!
Over 100 trips have been posted with over 75 initial responses.
And that is just FxCal users and in only two weeks.
I need some feedback.
I would like to take this to the entire pilot group.
FxBidLite does not have this feature yet, as I have kept it just bidding to stay under any adverse radar. Should I add the ability to post trips in FxBidLite? Should I add the ability to see posts in FxBidLite?
Should I make a web page to post trips?
Should I make a web page to see posts?
Thanks
