767 crews get to CGN a number of ways. Sometimes they operate from the states directly from SDF or PHL (or from EWR via STN).

They can also get there by operating or commercialing in from the US or someplace else in the world.

I'm not on the A300, but I think most of those European lines commercial back and forth. Many used to have DH's on company aircraft, but I think that's been significantly reduced in the new contract.

Is this a freighter only restriction?
That's because you'd be sittin in the back with the pax. All UPS JS's are "in the cockpit" and CASS only applies to domestic ops right now.

I'd LOVE it if TSA would open up our international JS's to off line pilots, as they were prior to 9/11. When that happens, and you want a ride on my MD11, I'll be happy to say once again "Welcome aboard!"

Would a flight to/from ANC from the 48 considered an "Int'l flight"?

That might make or break a commute to ANC if one were to try offline jumpseating on UPS or FEDEX.

For jumpseating purposes, ANC isn't considered international. You can jumpseat on us using CASS to/from Anchorage, Honolulu, and San Juan...

I am pretty sure you can use CASS on us (FedEx) to/from ANC (this may have been covered earlier).

Also remember NWA Freight has departures out of ANC too to LAX (I think?).

I'd personally like to know how to get in touch with the NWA freight guys in case I needed a lift out of ANC. Anybody got gouge on this?

No, it's domestic. Welcome aboard.

Nice video, It's too bad though that you have to wait 9:47 see any pilots. We must not be too important in the whole process

Thats because we are a trucking company not an airline.

Man, that narrator had a pretty thick accent. I could barely understand what he was saying at times! I'm pretty sure he did say that the "piloten" made his nipples hard "like a leetle girl!" Must be that fetching shade of scad brown...

Question

I feel your pain, AV8OR!

UPS won't release this information to the public. I know that our jumpseat committee worked hard to open this info up for all to see.

Freight Dog - is the union trying to change this? How come Fedex alpa managed to list all Fedex flights online for pilots who'd like to jumpseat but do not work for Fedex?

I mean if the info was available before 9/11 surely there gotta be a way to bring it back?
