So a Republican that is open to science, data, and socialized medicine.

The fact that you are working at all, is indicative that the system is in a major state of chaos and they are scrambling around to find anyone to cover out of position aircraft. We will consider that things are on the mend when you are safely put away until another "once in a lifetime" event!

Science, unlike religion, is modified when new data comes in. The 70s cooling thing was very short lived, and very quickly discredited. The data is there, but like the data on evolution, some like to ignore it.

Maybe an excuse for the flying public? We all know that jet fuel has anti-icing additives. We frequently see temps of -40C (isn't that also -40F?) at cruise altitudes, sometimes colder!

Or ... it was Bush's fault!
Yes, pretty stupid excuse that cannot be supported by any data. Perhaps they had stuck valves so could not get fuel pumping?

Why do lefties always bring up religion in a science discussion? I swear you people are obsessed with religion.
