No mention of real time trip trading = FAIL in my book. No PBS and improving RSV are just as important as correcting trip trading. As I type this I am still waiting over 1:48 for a response to a schedule adjustment request.

It was brought up. SL did address this as something they are looking at. However it will cause issues with PMU. The "good deal" of declining SUB will basically go away as the credit value won't change but the Priority part will.

Jet Blue and Southwest's programs were both mentioned.

But you will still get 125% pay on those PMU hours if we went to real time trip trading. The priority "good deal" part is the part that HAS to change. The select few that recycle PMU constantly throughout a couple of month period are scr#w!ng us all

Think there is any chance to do a dial in teleconference so guys can listen in. We do this all the time in the military and businesses do as well. 1-800 and a pass code is issued to all authorized participants.

Presentations can be uploaded to the fdx.alpa web site, downloaded by participants in a read-only format and the speaker can verbally state slide 1, blah blah, slide 2, etc.

Also for guys going thru a new program, they may only see a line guy on their MV or LOE. Plus they want the CMV to be called something different and use non seniority guys to conduct those events. So a guy who has never set foot in a FedEx airplane to operate it can down you or tell you what you should be doing. And that's only a road to be like other carriers that have non seniority LCA's or FCA's…
This is huge and the guys and gals better care a lot. In additon to the impending loss of effective seniority for many pilots, this is also how you start to build an airline within an airline. Starting training of non-seniority flight test crews was the first small ripple and nobody even cared.

Can't give a recap because I was there for just a very short time and had to leave. But I was really impressed with how many people were there. The place was packed, and they ran out of seats. Maybe 250-300 people there. If you think about how many people were working or were out of town at the time, that's an impressive number. A lot of enthusiasm and interest. Really impressed with our fearless union leader.

All P2P reps get/do this all the time. It's easy to join the team.
