Default FDX nasty ramp crew room

Who is it that we can contact about a ramp that has no recliners?

Some of our "pilot areas- take philly" are nasty. Is their anything management will do? The have stepped up as the police in other areas. Areas where only a small % are concerned : sick, mil, jump seat etc. But a real issue that affects all pilots who use a ramp facility for rest and work goes unstressed?

Pilot ops report. Nothing will change but you will get feedback.

Only fill out if reporting something bad. I tried to compliment someone once and it caused all sorts of headaches.

I recently wanted to compliment the consistently above average support I get from the IAD Ramp. It's nice when you can count on a lineman, wing walkers and stairs when you arrive (no matter what time of day). I don't think that happens by coincidence, rather I suspect it's good Management.

The Ramp Manager wanted to know what they'd done wrong when I asked for his email address. I guess they don't get very many compliments?

PLEASE PROMOTE THAT GUY AND SEND HIM TO MEM!

Do a POR and reference CBA. "Xxxx ramp failed to comply w CBA par ..." Got new ones at IAD within a week. Forget what section of CBA.

Also, include pix of the disgusting recliners with the POR.

Philly has been unsat since the mid 90s. Did more than my fare share of PM out and backs. It will never get better.

KGSO brand new hub the place is spotless. Our crew room is worse than a prison cell. We had a nice one when the base opened. But it has been "thinned out" Recliners TV's tables chairs etc. moved.

Many moons ago, flight ops shipped new computers and monitors to most of the US ramps to replace the old crappy ones in the pilot work stations. At the vast majority of locations, the ramp manager (or similar) replaced his crappy computer with a brand new one courtesy of flight ops' budget. Apparently, having the best computer in the whole building dedicated for use by the pilots and sitting idle for 95% of the day was too much to bear. The prima donna pilots upgraded from a old crappy computer to a much newer crappy computer. I have no doubt that if flt ops bought new furniture for the Philly (or anywhere else) pilot lounge, it would find it's way into conference rooms and offices in short order. And so it goes....
